Extra
The Extra I got off of the internet by trading a PS2 and games, an rc truck, and an rc boat. Sweet deal even though it had been through 2 owners and stall crashed twice behind the wings. Has a YS 120 swinging a 16X8 prop. It came to us with a bad CG problem. Took it up and was very squirrly and loved to tip stall. We shoved 50 fender washers on the firewall and now its just a tad bit nose heavy. We also moved the aft elevator servos up front.

Tree Incedent
While getting the plane balanced out we had a few mishaps. On a cloudy day it was comming in for a landing and got below the free line, then crashed into a tree. Had to climb the tree, loop a rope around the nose and toss it down to some guys. Here is where it got hurt the most, hit a limb and cracked through the leading edge and sheeting and a couple ribs.

Grear ripped out from hitting tree
I flew and landed the Extra not too long ago. The bugs seem to be out and the plane is just a tad nose heavy.

Cowl got paint swipped off when hit tree
Once during the balencind the engine quit on takeoff anout 20 foot off the ground. Ripped gear off and had to re fiberglass owl.
